Annabelle the haunted Doll

Annabelle the Haunted Doll
Haunted Objects

In the 1970's a terrible event took place in a small apartment, lived in by two nursing students. For quite some time strange goings on where noticed by the students, which included strange hand written messages on paper, objects moving around the house and strange dreams had by all who stayed the night.

It would all culminate when a friend was attacked with bloody and burned claw marks, torn into their chest.

The culprit? A Raggedy Anne Doll named Annabelle, who was thought to be possessed by a demon, and taking on the guise of the ghost of a little girl...

It all began when Donna, a nursing student, was given a Raggedy Anne doll as a birthday gift from her mother. Raggedy Anne (and Andy) Dolls were quite popular in the 1960's/70's, and the graduate student very much liked this gift.

The doll was placed on her bed as a decoration, and not much more was thought on the matter by Donna or her room mate Angie.

However, the girls soon began to find the doll creepy – something was not quite right about it. It sat on the bed in Donna’s bedroom, but the girls felt as if they were being watched. Over time these strange feelings would develop into fear, as the doll took on a life of its own.

It began with the doll seemingly moving about the house on its own. The room-mates would come home and find the doll in the most unexpected of places. At first, its pose on the bed had changed, but soon the doll would be found throughout the house.

Much of the time the girls would arrive home to find it sitting cross legged on the couch, a place where the girls would spend much of their time. Donna thought the room-mate may have been joking, so in the morning, before classes, she took the doll off her bed and placed it on the couch. However, she came home before her room-mate and found the doll back on her bed.

The strangest and most inexplicable way the doll was found was standing upright and leaning against a chair. This very much startled the girls, and they knew something was definitely up, as the dolls legs were too flexible to support its own weight.

About a month after receiving the doll and dealing with it moving about the apartment, a new phenomena began.

Donna and Angie would arrive home to not only find the doll moved again, but also pieces of parchment containing short messages written in a seemingly childlike hand. The messages would say things like "Help", "Help Us" and "Help Lou".

Enough was enough! Not only were the messages creepy, but the girls could not find a source for the paper, as neither kept parchment paper in the house!

Donna sought out the help of a medium, who soon made contact with the spirit of a young girl named Annabelle Higgins. Annabelle used to live in a house near to the land where the apartment complex was built. Annabelle was only seven when her body was found on the field where Donna’s apartment stood.

Annabelle, in spirit, had been staying in the complex for many years, but when Donna and Angie had moved in, she liked the girls and found the doll suitable for habitation and manipulation of the surroundings.

Donna gave Annabelle permission to stay with them, as long as she stopped doing things that scared them.

Donna, Angie and the medium seemed happy with the arrangement, but their friend Lou did not like what was happening. Lou felt that the doll was evil and should be gotten rid of. When he stayed in the apartment, he would have very vivid dreams about Annabelle attacking him.

One evening Lou and Angie were sitting on a lounge, reading over maps in preparation for a road trip the following day. They were startled by rustling sounds coming from Donna’s room. Fearing it was a burglar; Lou quietly crept up to the bedroom door then suddenly rushed in to confront the intruder.

No one was there except, once again, Annabelle had moved. This time she was sprawled out on the floor, the feeling of life having left her. Lou walked up to the doll to inspect it, then got the distinct impression that someone was standing behind him. He turned, expecting to see Angie, but was rather surprised by a burning sensation in his chest.

Lou fled the room to the safety of the living room where he removed his shirt. To his and Angie's amazement seven distinct claw marks were found burned and bleeding in his chest, three were vertical and four were horizontal. The wounds slowly beaded blood, but the burning was more pronounced.

Something unseen had definitely attacked him.

Donna now believed the doll to be possessed by an evil entity, and once again sought help. Help arrived in the form of Ed and Lorraine Warren who had worked on many cases concerning dark/negative spirits, including the Amityville Case.

It was soon decided that the doll was not possessed, but was rather being used to give the impression that it was possessed. The entity in this case was not capable of possessing the doll as it needed a human host, and since this can take time to succeed, the doll was used to fool the girls into believing that it was a much more friendly spirit.

Essentially, in their minds a 'demon' had attached itself to the doll, but wanted so much more and through the previous séance, Donna had unwittingly given it free reign of the house when she gave it permission to stay.

It seemed that the intent was to possess Lou with the doll, trying to get his attention and possible sympathies through the hand written notes, many of which had Lou's name on them. The dreams, scratches and burns typical of the early stages of the demon making its mark and intent to reside within a human form.

An exorcism was performed on the apartment, and the Warrens took the doll with them. Donna, Angie and Lou were now free of the terrors that had plagued them for the last few months.

As for Annabelle the Doll, she sits locked in a glass case in the Warren Occult Museum, together with a sign that says 'Warning. Positively Do Not Open'. The presence can still be felt within the doll, by those with sensitive abilities, but as for why the entity stays attached with the doll?

It is not entirely certain, but maybe it is looking for the right person to pay a visit to the museum in which to make a new attachment...

Security Guard Driven Insane By Female Ghost

A 45-year-old security guard at a department store claimed he kept seeing a woman ghost in a white dress who followed to haunt him. He requested to see the Abbot at Phosamphan temple. But he abruptly became insane and shattered the mirrored doors of the parsonage.

PATTAYA – January 25, 2013 [PDN]; at 11 p.m., a report of a madman shattering a temple mirror in the Abbot’s parsonage was received by Pol. Capt. Vitsanu Chaisuwan, Deputy Inspector, Pattaya police station.
The incident occurred at the Phosamphan temple, located on the side of Pattaya-Na Kleu road, Moo 5 Tambon Na Kleu, Amphur Banglamung.

At the scene, police found the monks and novice monks restraining the trouble maker, identified as Mr. Phonsiri Janthamas, age 45. He had been cut by the damaged mirror on his left hand, which was bleeding heavily.

Mr. Phonsiri was trembling uncontrollably and appeared to be deathly afraid of something. He told police that he could see the ghost standing beside the wall of temple. The officers tried to calm him down, but were unable to calm his intense fear that made him insane. So the police restrained him and brought him to the police station to calm his emotion.

Officers inspecting the parsonage of the abbot discovered that one of the sliding mirror doors to the entrance had been hit until it was broken. Police questioned the Abbot, who said he had been sleeping in the parsonage, when he heard an intruder attacking the mirrored door until it shattered.

The sound of the violence scared the Abbot so much, he thought a robber had come to rob or beat him. So the Abbot didn’t dare to venture out of the parsonage, and waited for the police to arrive.

Police then questioned the suspect’s co-worker, identified as Mr. Wutthiphong Phangdaboot, age 26. He told the police that Mr. Phongsiri is a security guard at a department store in north Pattaya.

After the two men had finished their work shift that night, Mr. Phongsiri asked Mr. Wutthiphong to bring him to this temple to see the monk, because he was being haunted by a woman ghost all the time. But after they arrived at the temple, Mr. Phongsiri’s mind suddenly snapped, and he ran to attack the mirrored doors of the Abbot’s parsonage.

Are all crop circles man-made ?

Black Country crop circles prove phenomenon is no hoax, claims Australian expert

Crop circles are not the work of hoaxers and aerial photos of the Black Country can prove it, says Australian boffin.

Aerial shot of crop circles in the Black Country

A crop circle expert from Australia believes that he has evidence to suggest that they aren't.

While there is no doubt that a lot of crop circles are hoaxes, the jury is still out on whether every single crop circle can be attributed to people with planks of wood and a lot of spare time. Researcher Greg Jefferys claims to have uncovered evidence that crop circles have been appearing in fields as far back as 1880, a fact that he believes proves that the phenomenon pre-dates circle hoaxers.

"This discovery proves that claims by various artists to be the sole creators of crop circles are themselves a hoax," he said. "I hope this discovery will stimulate renewed interest in crop circles by serious scientific researchers who have been fooled by the hoax claims."

Real Ghosts in Babylon?

It’s quite a coup when you get the original actors, all dead, to cameo in your movie about the silent era of Hollywood — without splicing in old footage or engaging in CGI re-constructions.

Director Alex Monty Canawati’s silent, black-and-white biopic, Return to Babylon, is said to have been infiltrated by phantom figures — ghosts, they reckon, of the dead stars that are the subject of the film, which is about assorted scandals in Hollywood at the beginning of the 20th Century.

Much of Return to Babylon — “part mystery, part comedy and part psychological drama” — was filmed on location in the estates of the deceased stars, and lead Jennifer Tilly and other members of the crew began to feel that they were not alone on the sets.

It was only in post-production that Canawati noticed that the film was haunted by odd visual glitches; “several of the stars were ‘replaced’ by images of haunting ghostly apparitions”. Or at least ghostly faces were superimposed over their faces:

Ghost faces in Return to Babylon

The film’s release has been long delayed, and according to IMDB, the reason for the delay was the discovery of the “odd figures, morphing of characters and ghost-like images, etc. in some scenes. These were especially clear in still framing. These were found to be in the original negatives and not in the special effects. The film makers decided the images do not take away from the integrity of the film, thus the release date.” The film is being release this Halloween at the Salem Cinema in Salem, Massachusetts.

As Ken Hulsey, reporting on Monster Island News, puts it: “It seems that many deceased silent movie stars jumped at the chance to once again grace the silver screen!”

Spooky, eh? Whether it’s an unexplained phenomenon or a bit of canny (or uncanny) PR, I like the idea!

Red shirts keep 'widow ghost' away

Village residents have taken to hanging red shirts outside their homes to help ward off the entity.

At least ten men have reportedly died in the Thai village of tambon Tha Sawang under mysterious circumstances. Villagers have described how the victims allegedly had either died in their sleep or simply dropped dead when walking around. The culprit, they say, is a spirit called the 'widow ghost', a rumor that has been spreading through the districts. Hanging a red shirt outside one's home is said to help ward off the spirit and keep those inside safe.

"Some of the men who died did not show any sign of sickness, they were perfectly fine," said one villager. "When I heard about the rumour, I respected people's beliefs and put a red shirt on my front door as well." According to an analysis of the bodies by local doctors the victims had all died of respiratory failure.

SURIN – Fearful villagers in tambon Tha Sawang have hung red shirts in front of their homes to repel a "widow ghost" rumoured to have taken the lives of 10 apparently healthy men in the village since last month.
People in the village told a reporter that 10 strong men have mysteriously died, some in their sleep and others just dropped dead while walking.

Doctors said all of them died from respiratory failure.

A spirit medium hired by the villagers said the "widow ghost", or pee mae mai, also known locally as the lai thai (sudden unexpected death syndrome) spirit, was responsible for their demise.

The medium also told villagers to hang a red shirt outside their homes to repel the evil spirit and also warned that families with only one son have a higher chance of a visit from the ghost.

The reporter said that the widow ghost rumour has spread to other districts, such as Chom Phra and Tha Tum.

"The reason I hang a red shirt is not because of my political views, but it's because I am worried for my nephew's safety. I don't necessarily believe in the story but taking some precaution doesn't hurt," said a 61-year-old villager.

The red-shirt group, more formally known as the United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD), is a political pressure group opposed to the yellow-shirt People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) and those who support the military coup on Sept 19, 2006. Many of them are strong supporters of the Pheu Thai government.

Another villager, 42, said, "Some of the men who died did not show any sign of sickness, they were perfectly fine. When I heard about the rumour, I respected people's beliefs and put a red shirt on my front door as well."

300 Million Year Old Machinery Found In Russia

300 Million Year Old Machinery Found In Russia, Experts Say Aluminum Gear Not The Result Of Natural Forces, May Be Extraterrestrial

The Voice of Russia and other Russian sources are reporting that a 300 million year old piece of aluminum machinery has been found in Vladivostok. Experts say a gear rail appears to be manufactured and not the result of natural forces.

According to Yulia Zamanskaya, when a resident of Vladivostok was lighting the fire during a cold winter evening, he found a rail-shaped metal detail which was pressed in one of the pieces of coal that the man used to heat his home. Mesmerized by his discovery, the responsible citizen decided to seek help from the scientists of Primorye region. After the metal object was studied by the leading experts the man was shocked to learn about the assumed age of his discovery. The metal detail was supposedly 300 million years old and yet the scientists suggest that it was not created by nature but was rather manufactured by someone. The question of who might have made an aluminum gear in the dawn of time remains unanswered.

The find was very much like a toothed metal rail, created artificially. It was like parts are often used in microscopes, various technical and electronic devices says writer Natalia Ostrowski at KP UA Daily.

Nowadays, finding a strange artifact in coal is a relatively frequent occurrence. The first discovery of this sort was made in 1851 when the workers in one of the Massachusetts mines extracted a zinc silver-incrusted vase from a block of unmined coal which dated all the way back to the Cambrian era which was approximately 500 million years ago. Sixty one years later, American scientists from Oklahoma discovered an iron pot which was pressed into a piece of coal aged 312 million years old. Then, in 1974, an aluminum assembly part of unknown origin was found in a sandstone quarry in Romania. Reminiscent of a hammer or a support leg of a spacecraft “Apollo”, the piece dated back to the Jurassic era and could not have been manufactured by a human. All of these discoveries not only puzzled the experts but also undermined the most fundamental doctrines of modern science.

The metal detail which was recently found by Vladivostok resident is yet another discovery which perplexed the scientists. The coal in which the metal object was pressed was delivered to Primorye from Chernogorodskiy mines of Khakasia region. Knowing that the coal deposits of this region date 300 million years back, Russian experts inferred that the metal detail found in these deposits must be an age-mate of the coal.

Another question that interests Russian scientists is whether the aluminum alloy is of Earthly origin. It is known from the study of meteorites that there exists extra-terrestrial aluminum-26 which subsequently breaks down to magnesium-26. The presence of 2 percent of magnesium in the alloy might well point to the alien origin of the aluminum detail. It could also be evidence of some past, unknown civilization on Earth. Nonetheless, further testing is needed to confirm this hypothesis.

It is the first such finding in coal made in Russia, according to anomaly researcher and biologist Valery Brier, who took microscopic samples of the aluminum for testing.  Valery Brier performed X-ray diffraction analysis of the metal. It showed very pure aluminum with microimpurities of magnesium of only 2 - 4 percent.  Analysis was also conducted by Senior Fellow of the St. Petersburg Institute of Nuclear Physics Igor Okunev who confirmed the age of the material according to Natalia Ostrovsky

The find is very much like a toothed metal rail, created artificially. It was like parts that are often used in microscopes, as well as various technical and electronic devices.

While exploring core samples (rock samples) that were raised from a 9-meter depth during the drilling of the seabed to support the bridge on a Russian island near Cape Nazimova,  strange metal alloys were discovered that were "preserved" in the prehistoric sandstone (age - 240 million years old).  The  pieces of special alloys had an unusual composition and were clearly not used in the drilling machinery. The alloys, said Brier, were artificial and constructed by intelligent beings.

Not so long ago in Russia a mechanical device was found in volcanic rock which was dated 400 million years before the current era (B.C.E)

It was found on the remote Kamchatka Peninsula, 150 miles from the village of Tigil, by archaeologists at the University of St. Petersburg among found strange fossils. The reliability of the finds has been certified. According to archaeologist Yuri Golubev the find amazed experts as it was some sort of a machine.
The most ancient vase on Earth was discovered in 1851 in Massachusetts when blasting in the quarry. It is a silver-zinc vase inlaid with fine silver in the form of the vine. The age of this vase, according to the the rock in which it was found, is 534 million years old

Another strange artefact that was found in coal is the iron pot shown below. It was found in 1912 in Oklahoma in a piece of coal with an estimated age of 312 million years.

In Romania in 1974, in sandstone quarry of not less than 1 million years old was found aluminum parts, reminiscent of a hammer or a support leg landing spacecraft "Viking" and "Apollo".

Watching your weight? Try watching a horror movie!

Scary films can burn off the same number of calories as a half-hour walk

  • Scientists from the University of Westminster claim watching a scary film can help burn calories
  • The Shining was named as the best horror flick for getting viewers' heart rates soaring

It's the weight loss advice you never thought you’d hear: To burn as many calories as a 30-minute walk, sit on your sofa and watch a movie.

The catch?

The movie has to be scary and the scarier it is the more calories you’re likely to use.

Calorie burner: The Shining, starring Jack Nicholson, has been found to burn an average 184 calories, close to the same amount as a half-hour walk

Scientists at the University of Westminster tested ten people as they watched a selection of classic horror films.
They monitored the viewers’ heart rate, oxygen intake and carbon dioxide output to work out how much energy they were using.
The scientists found that on average the participants used up a third more calories watching the scary films than if they had been sitting in front of a blank screen.
And on average viewers burned 113 calories over 90-minutes of film watching – the same amount as a 30-minute walk – which would off set the calories in a small chocolate bar.
However, the films that made viewers jump in terror were the best calorie-burners because they cause the heart rate to soar.
Runner-up: Steven Spielberg's 1975 classic Jaws was the second best thriller for calorie busting, scientists found

The scientists found 1980 psychological thriller The Shining, starring Jack Nicholson, was the best for calorie busting, with the average viewer using up 184 calories.
Steven Spielberg’s 1975 film Jaws took the runner-up spot, with viewers burning on average 161 calories, while the 1973 classic The Exorcist, starring Max von Sydow, came third, using up 158 calories.

More recent horror films scored worse on the scale of calorie-burning, with 2007 Spanish film [Rec] using the least, at 101 calories.

Dr Richard Mackenzie, a metabolism specialist at the University of Westminster, said: ‘It is the release of fast-acting adrenaline, produced during short bursts of intense stress, or in this case, fear, which is known to lower the appetite, increase the basal metabolic rate and ultimately burn a higher level of calories.’

Helen Cowley, of movie rental company LOVEFiLM, which teamed up with the university for the study, said: ‘We all know the feeling of wanting to hide behind the sofa or grab a pillow when watching scary or hair raising scenes. This research suggests that maybe those seeking to burn some calories should keep their eyes on the screen.’

Criminals sent RM100,000 to buy Talisman or charm to ward off police

Dover Demon

Dover Demon

Dover Demon

ONE DAY IN DOVER: On April 21, 1977, the sightings of something otherworldly forever changed a small suburb of Boston, Mass. Four teens witnessed a creature — labeled the Dover Demon by locals — at different times within a 25-hour period. Their descriptions and accounts seemed to confirm there was a new resident in Dover.

DEMON FEATURES: Witnesses described this alienlike creature as having a watermelon-shaped head and a body like a lanky monkey. The demon also had very large eye sockets with glowing eyes, but no other perceptible facial features were reported. The demon appeared to stand no more than 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall with a hairless body and a bright orange skin tone. What exactly could this creature with such strange features be?

POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS: Many experts have theorized about the Dover Demon. Experts in ufology believe it could have been an extraterrestrial or mutant animal. Another explanation came from zoologists, who believed the demon could have been a baby moose, which has similar features to the demon. However, Lorne Coleman, a cryptozoologist, thinks that line of reasoning is flawed since no moose existed in eastern Massachusetts during that time, plus young moose are much larger than the creature Dover witnesses saw. Coleman said, "I'm most definitely secure in saying I don't know what this is," and the residents of Dover still wonder, too.

Do angels actually exist ?

Archangel Gabriel
The Archangel Gabriel, painted 1431-1433 by by Fra Angelico

Images of angels surround us all the time, and especially during the holidays. They appear in paintings, figurines,T-shirts, and just about everything else. Angels appear in several religions; in Islam angels are said to be made of light. Early versions of angels had no gender, though later Christian angels were tall, slender males with soft features, often dressed in flowing robes specially tailored around their large white wings.

The word "angel" can be traced back to the Greek word "anglos," which means "messenger" in Hebrew. Angels can take many forms, usually appearing as human or a glowing light or aura. Often—especially in cases of averted tragedy or disaster—angels will not be seen at all, but instead recognized by their actions. If something good, unexpected, and seemingly inexplicable happens, it's often assumed to be the result of angelic intervention. [Pareidolia: Seeing Faces in Unusual Places]

The angels most people are familiar with today are the Christian angels, which originated from the Hebrew Testaments. The Catholic Church has devoted considerable effort to describing and developing an extensive hierarchy of angels. There are nine different types of angels within three groups or choirs — seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominions, virtues, powers, principalities, archangels and angels — with an official census of 496,000 angels.

In Christianity and Islam, angels function mainly as God's messengers (mostly announcing births and deaths), but in modern times they function more as guardians. Indeed, the word "angel" has come to describe any hero or benefactor. Angels are said to appear to people in times of need; other times they are sensed as comforting but unseen presences.

'Real Angels'

Despite centuries of theological speculation about angels — from their number to their duties to how many can dance on the head of a pin — no one knows if they exist outside of stories and legends. Many people believe they do: Polls suggest that nearly 70 percent of Americans think angels exist. In their book "Paranormal America," sociologists Christopher Bader, F. Carson Mencken, and Joseph Baker note that "Angels pervade popular culture in books, television shows, and movies.... Believers exchange informal testimonials in newsletters and interpersonal conversations about the potential power of angels to influence the world, and more than half of Americans (53 percent) believe that they have personally been saved from harm by a guardian angel." [Senator Claims Angels Visited Him in Hospital]

A 2007 Baylor Religion Survey found that 57 percent of Catholics, 81 percent of Black Protestants, 66 percent of Evangelical Protestants, and 10 percent of Jews reported having a personal experience with a guardian angel. Curiously, 20 percent of those who identified themselves as having no religion also claimed having encountered an angel.

In one famous 2008 angel encounter, a North Carolina woman named Colleen Banton claimed that an angel miraculously healed her daughter. While in a hospital's waiting area, Banton noticed that a patch of sunlight appeared through a nearby window and shone in the hallway outside her daughter's room. Her daughter soon got better, and Banton attributed the recovery to the angelic visit. (While everyone was glad at the girl's recovery, others noted that the patch of sunlight regularly appears in that spot, at the door of patients who both do and don't recover.)

Though angels are said to dwell in heaven, their visits to the earthly realm are not always benevolent. The most famous angel is Satan, who rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven. Biblical angels wage warfare, lay siege to cities, and kill people. The archangel Michael, for example, is often depicted as the leader of God's Army, destroying armies with his terrible powers and flaming sword. These avenging angels seem to have disappeared in modern times; it would be strange indeed to hear the victim of an accident or disaster blame an angel for their misfortune.

Whether real or fictional, angels have been with humans for millennia; their mythology will evolve and their presence will continue to comfort.

Night noises stump Christchurch crime busters

BUMP IN THE NIGHT: Senior Constable Gary Malzard shows where the Hornby police station ghost can be heard walking around in the dead of night.
BUMP IN THE NIGHT: Senior Constable Gary Malzard shows where the Hornby police station ghost can be heard walking around in the dead of night.

Christchurch's crime busters may be in need of some ghostbusters.

Officers at the Hornby station say there have been paranormal occurrences in the building for many years, but there are no clues on who the phantom may be.

Senior Sergeant Pete Laloli, who has run the Hornby station for 20 years, said the night-time spooks had been present as long as he could remember. "If you're in the station by yourself, strange things happen."

Staff who worked there were well aware of a "presence", he said. At night, footsteps could be heard upstairs and, when they investigated, officers would find doors open that had been closed.

Lights and electronics would come on for no apparent reason.

"One of the guys had finished work after one of our student operations and he went in, then walked out, walked back in and the radio was going," Laloli said.

"I'm not talking a police radio; this was a transistor radio that was on the desk."

One staff member had refused to go into the station on his own, Laloli said.

The station was built in 1989.

Laloli understood a Catholic church had been on the site, but there was no graveyard there.

Senior Constable Gary Malzard has worked in the station since 1993, and although he never saw anything, he had often heard "the noises".

He recalled one occasion where he was at the station alone at night and the watchhouse lights came on while he was upstairs.

"From time to time you hear things. Lights will go on. It's really strange," he said.
"It makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up."

UFO filmed from airline during US flight

Mauricio Ruiz managed to record an anomalous object from his window during a flight to Chicago.

The footage shows the object to be a white cluster of lights hovering a short distance from the plane during an otherwise routine flight from New York to Chicago. Since appearing on Youtube the video has succeeded in generating a significant amount of interest with viewers attempting to determine what it could be.

While some have subscribed to the idea that the video is a hoax, others believe the footage does show something unusual. One of the more prominent conventional explanations to surface suggests that the object is actually a reflection on the window of something from within the plane.

"The actual footage in its original content was sent to the FAA for further review," Ruiz wrote in an update on December 27th. "UFOlogist and investigators please be patient. Let FAA do their review in fairness to all."

Daylight UFO photographed over Seattle

A clear photograph of a strange object hovering in the skies over Seattle has been circulating on-line.

The image was submitted to MUFON ( Mutual UFO Network ) as part of a report from December 30th. The submitter had been in the city meeting up with some friends and had decided to take pictures of a few interesting buildings and landmarks. While it is alleged that nothing was visible in the viewfinder of the camera at the time, when the pictures were developed one of them showed a strange circular shaped object hovering over the Dexter Horton Building.

"It vaguely resembles a blimp, yet it had unusual characteristics," the submitter stated in the report. "There appears to be no windows, some blueish and reddish coloration, definitely metallic looking surface."
